High-performance protection thanks to pure zinc
Zinc is a special metal, as it acts both actively and passively as Corrosion Protection. On the one hand, the material forms a barrier against weather and moisture, but on the other hand it also acts as a galvanic anode against contact corrosion and thus protects adjacent iron or steel by preferentially oxidising and thus protecting the actual component from rusting. These special properties are the secret of our Zinc Spray mat grey. The spray is ideally suited as a Zinc Spray Primer before paintwork on metallic surfaces, but also as a means of repairing damaged coatings caused by drilling, welding or cutting work. If colouring is important for these operations, we also recommend our Zinc Spray Alu Light, which matches zinc coatings better in colour, but has a similarly good protective effect.
Instructions for use
Our Zinc Spray against Rust is very easy to use. First shake the can vigorously until you hear the mixing balls stop. From a distance of about 20-30 cm spray the Zinc Spray mat grey onto the prepared surface. Always spray crosswise and as slowly and evenly as possible. Our Zinc Spray mat grey is particularly fast drying and can be painted over and sanded just one day after application. The dried layer then consists of more than 99% pure zinc.
