Caramba Corrosion Protection Wax Spray – Properties
Caramba Corrosion Protection Wax is a low viscosity, solvent-based wax dispersion with good penetrating properties. It has a high dripping point and produces protective films with good heat resistance up to 100 °C. To achieve thin protective films with good grip also suitable for aluminium, copper, brass, zinc, phosphated and chromated surfaces.
Caramba Corrosion Protection Wax Spray displaces moisture and forms an elastic film with good low-temperature flexibility. The fast-drying wax dispersion does not emulsify and the dried film is water-resistant. The product is safe when it comes into contact with plastics and rubber as it does not attack them.
Application of Caramba High-Performance Corrosion Protection Wax
The corrosion protection wax protects equipment used in the construction industry and agriculture and is suitable for many applications on garden tools and for preserving tools. It also serves as transport protection for machine parts, as corrosion protection in the engine compartment and for aggregates such as gearbox housings, ignition distributors, generators, brake boosters and painted parts. The corrosion protection wax can be applied to all interior and exterior parts that need to be protected against corrosion. The can should be shaken well before use. The surface to be treated must be clean and free of corrosion. Spray on Caramba High-Performance Corrosion Protection Wax evenly from a distance of 20-30 cm. To achieve a uniform layer of thickness, 2 crosswise passes are necessary.
